What You’ll Need
-
Your tāep faucet filter
-
The included adapter set (only if your faucet requires one)
-
Your first refill cartridge (already pre-installed)
-
A cloth or towel (optional, to catch drips)
Step 1: Install the Faucet Filter
-
Remove your faucet’s existing aerator (the small round cap at the end).
-
Check your faucet thread internal or external? Use the included adapter if needed.
-
Attach the tāep filter by gently screwing it onto the faucet.
-
Turn slowly and avoid overtightening.
-
Run water to check the flow. Adjust rotation if needed.
✅ Done. No tools. No plumber. Just clean design, ready to flow.
Step 2: Replace the Refill Cartridge (Every 2 Months)
Your filter uses a refillable cartridge system. Replacing it on time keeps performance high and water fresh.
-
Hold the filter body firmly
-
Twist the bottom cap counterclockwise
-
Remove the used refill and insert a new one (flat side up)
-
Screw the cap back on securely

Step 3: (Optional) Test Your Water Quality
Curious what your filter is removing? A quick home test shows the difference:
-
Use a hardness or chlorine strip (available online or at hardware stores)
-
Run tap water over the strip and compare to the chart
-
Repeat with filtered water from your tāep faucet
The results are often visible and always skin-deep.
